Meet the team

I’ve been teaching yoga since 2005 and opened Recline Yoga Studio in August 2009.
My love affair with this practice began in 1994, when a friend and I wandered into our very first yoga class, a moment that quietly changed the course of my life. I have been devoted ever since, grateful that this passion has grown into my life’s work. It continues to be a privilege to witness the profound transformation students experience through movement, breath, and presence.

My foundational training took place in the South of India, where I lived for six months studying Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. I trained one-on-one with two esteemed teachers, Santil and Ganesh, completing Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced A & B levels.
In 2011, I completed a Vinyasa training that reignited my inner fire and deepened my understanding of the fluid connection between breath and movement.
In 2013, Thailand called me further along my path through Jnana Yoga  where I learned what it truly means to be held in unconditional love, compassion, and the timeless wisdom of self-inquiry. This experience reshaped not only my practice, but the way I live and share yoga every day.

Over the years, my offerings have expanded into a more holistic, embodied path.
Alongside a full schedule of classes:  Hatha (all levels), Vinyasa, Yin Yang, Yoga Sculpt, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal, Meditation, and Yoga Therapy.

I now guide:

• Mana Movement

A feminine-energy cultivation practice rooted in circular, spiral, and wave-like pathways that reconnect you to softness, sensuality, and embodied flow.

• Somatic Movement

Gentle explorations that support nervous system regulation, embodiment, emotional release, and returning home to the wisdom of your own body.

• Energy & Sound Healing

A blend of intuitive energy work and therapeutic sound vibrations to harmonise the subtle body, restore balance, and invite deep rest.

• Therapeutic Massage

A healing touch modality that works not only with the muscles, but with the fascia, fluid body, and the nervous system — calming, nourishing, and deeply restorative.

In addition to studio classes and healing sessions, I also host annual local and international retreats, guiding individuals into deeper layers of presence, reconnection, and self-awakening.

I'm a 200YTT certified yoga teacher based in Swakopmund, Namibia, with a passion for creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and learn to feel more at home within themselves.

My classes are rooted in mindful movement, breath awareness, and nervous system regulation, offering a balance between strength, mobility, and deep relaxation. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have an established practice, my intention is to help you move with greater ease, cultivate self-awareness of your thoughts, habits & behaviors and leave you feeling calmer, stronger, and more connected.

I believe yoga is about so much more than flexibility. It's an opportunity to build resilience, develop a kinder relationship with yourself, and create moments of stillness in an often busy world.

When you join one of my classes, you can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where everybody is encouraged to move at their own pace. My intention is that you'll leave not only feeling more expansive physically, but also carrying a little more presence, balance, and peace into your emotional life.
